Anna Mae Komon, age 83, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at Beacon of Kalamazoo surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 15, 1942 in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Brusko) Erdos.
She married Edward Komon in 19.
Anna loved to do ceramics and also sold them.
She was affectionately known as “Cookie.” She was a great and wonderful person, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an amazing role model for her children and grandchildren. Her humor and wit made her immediately likable to everyone.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward Komon; sons, Jim Bergen and Steve (Essie) Bergen; daughter, Donna Bergen; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Erdos; sister, Grace Rosen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers and 1 sister.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted. She will be laid to rest in Flowerfield Cemetery.
