Dennis Guy, 82

Dennis L. Guy, age 82, of Sturgis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Life Care Center of LaGrange.

Born on January 1, 1943, to Jay L. and Dorothy M. (Dull) Guy, Dennis spent his entire life rooted in the community of St. Joseph County.

Dennis dedicated much of his career to the manufacturing industry in Constantine, where he worked as an electrician. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and reliability, he earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond his professional life, Dennis nurtured a deep curiosity for the natural world. He was an active member of the Kalamazoo Geological and Mineral Society, where he found joy in exploring the earth’s wonders and sharing that passion with others. He was also a devoted supporter of the St. Joseph County Commission on Aging, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to the well-being of his community.

Dennis is survived by his brother-in-law, Gary Glick of Shipshewana; nephews Melvin Glick of Jacksonville, FL and Guy Glick of Centreville; three great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and sisters, Mary Guy and Marjorie Glick.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN. Burial will take place privately at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sturgis.

In honor of Dennis’s lifelong dedication to his community, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Commission on Aging, 1200 W. Broadway St., Three Rivers, MI 49093.
