Glen Oaks Community College has hired Devin Wilburn as its new director of athletics.
Wilburn, who brings a background in both high school and collegiate coaching, joined the college in late August.
Glen Oaks officials said Wilburn’s experience includes coaching roles at Taylor University and Ball State University, where he developed programs and mentored student-athletes across various sports.
He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in sports administration from Ball State University.
Wilburn will be relocating from Muncie, Ind., along with his family.
In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the college’s athletic programs, including recruitment, coaching support, athletic compliance and student-athlete development.
