Judith “Judy” Ann (Morrisson) Mundt, age 84, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 with her loving daughter by her side. Judy was born November 13, 1940 in Sturgis to Jesse and Ruby (Woodworth) Morrisson. Judy was a graduate of Sturgis High School. She married Norman L. Mundt on August 18, 1984 in Sturgis, and he passed away October 26, 2014.
Judy worked as a medical office receptionist – retiring in 1997.
Judy lived 51 years of her life in Sturgis, before moving to Ft. Wayne.
Judy was a loving mother and wife, and was a member of Aboite Baptist Church in Ft. Wayne.
Judy is survived by her daughter: Dawn Underhile, Ft. Wayne; grand puppy: Hailey Rose; and Nancy Maly, Ft. Wayne, who she thought of as a daughter.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Norman L. Mundt, parents: Jesse and Ruby Morrisson; brothers: Hubert Morrisson and Raymond Morrisson; sisters: Jean Hart and Norma Rice.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Aboite Baptist Church, 5700 Homestead Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46814
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 at the church.
Memorials are to the family to assist with expenses.
