Mendon man arrested on weapons charges

A Mendon man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested earlier this month.

According to Mendon Police Department, officers and members of St. Joseph County Special Response Team met Sept. 5 to a residence in the 300 block of East Street in Mendon.

The suspect was wanted on weapons-related offenses. In addition, a second person was arrested at the East Street residence on charges of aiding and abetting, authorities said.

The two were taken into custody after officers executed a search warrant.
