St. Joseph County Grange Fair planning for 2025 event

St. Joseph County Grange Fair officials said they are optimistic the 2025 edition will be another crowd-pleaser.

Mindy Pleune, a fair board member and its marketing director, discussed the impending 174th event and its many offerings during last week’s media luncheon, held Thursday at the Centreville-based fairgrounds.

New events this year include announcement of St. Joseph County’s “Homemaker of the Year.” Meanwhile, Pleune said nightly grandstand entertainment features farm truck pulls, TK Pro Rodeo, a demolition derby, SJO Motocross and tractor pulls.

Pleune said mega wristbands for a full week of rides are $125 and will be on sale through the end of the week. Meanwhile, single-day wristbands are available for $28 if purchased before 5 p.m. Sunday.
