Amanda R. Russell, age 64, of Constantine, died at 9:17 pm on Monday, September 29 at her residence. She was born on March 26, 1961 in Bryant, IN, to Menno N. and Rebecca K. (Hilty) Eicher.
Surviving are her three children, Angie (Lavern) Petersheim of Vandalia, David (Megan) Eicher of Rome City, and Mawasse (Nick Horner) Russell of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren and one on the way, three great-grandchildren and one on the way; nine brothers, John (Clara) Eicher of LaGrange, Andy (Delilah) Eicher of Berne, Pete (Carol) Eicher of TN, Noah (Mary) Eicher of Celina, OH, Menno (Maggie) Eicher of Sturgis, Jake (Viola) Eicher, Willie (Josephine) Eicher both of Mendon, David (Esther) Eicher of Sugarcreek, OH, Henry (Loretta) Eicher of Three Rivers; five sisters, Katherine (Joe) Eicher of Middlefield, OH, Maggie (Joe) Schwartz of IL, Mary (Kenny) Borkholder of Burr Oak, Anna (Ira) Bontrager of Bristol, Rebecca Crothers of White Pigeon; sister-in-law, Ida Eicher of Middlefield, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren; brother, Joe Eicher; brother-in-law, Brian Crothers. Amanda was a homemaker.
Amanda was a very giving person who loved Jesus. She enjoyed visiting with her family and loved the holidays.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 2 at the Community Youth Center (CYC), 59321 Nottawa Road, Centreville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 3 at Pilgrim Fellowship Church, 26239 M-86, Sturgis. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jeffery Diggins Sr. Burial will be in Nottawa Cemetery, Sturgis, MI. Memorials may be given to the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
