The identity of a Three Rivers motorcyclist who died in a collision last weekend has been made.
According to Hohner Funeral Home, Kenneth Ray Griffin, 34, died as a result of the crash at 1 a.m. Sunday in Constantine Township.
Sheriff Chad Spence said deputies were called to the intersection of U.S. 131 and Riverside Drive in response to a two-vehicle crash.
Investigators said Griffin was driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on U.S. 131. Authorities said a Ford F-250 entered the intersection in a westbound direction on Riverside Drive.
The pickup entered the path of Griffin’s motorcycle, resulting in a collision.
Griffin was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene, authorities said. The Ford’s driver was uninjured.
Investigators said Griffin was wearing a helmet. They said speed does not appear to have been a factor.
