Great Start Collaborative of St. Joseph County is sponsoring upcoming courses that might benefit new parents and parents of young children.
The first, “Raising Humans 101,” is an opportunity to connect with other parents, and learn how to support a child’s growth and development. The two-day session will be offered 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8 at St. Joseph County Intermediate School District’s office on Shimmel Road.
In addition, “Handling Upset: The Adult-First Mindset Shift” is an online course starting next week.
The 90-minute sessions are held on Mondays and start at 8 p.m.
