James Eash, 73

James “Jim” L. Eash, age 73, of Shipshewana, died at 1:47 pm on Saturday, October 18, at the scene of a two-vehicle accident 1/2 mile north of State Rd. 120 on County Road 1000 W in Shipshewana.

Jim was born on September 4, 1952 in Sturgis to Forrest “Buck” O. and Helen L. (Reeves) Eash.

Survivors include a son, Dustin (Ashley Walker) Eash of Wakarusa; and two sisters, Mary Lou (Jerry) Mishler of Shipshewana, and Lynda Eash of Constantine. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked as an auto mechanic for Doug’s Alignment in Goshen for over 30 years.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 on Sunday, October 26, at Ivins Cemetery, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor Ron Russell.
