Few details are being released about a Cass County teen who was reported missing and eventually found deceased over the weekend.
According to Cass County Sheriff’s Department officials, Kyle McMannis, 16, was reported missing last week. Authorities said the young man was non-verbal autistic.
He was missing from the Baldwin Lake area in Porter Township. A department post on social media stated McMannis was found Saturday morning.
The location where he was found and cause of death were not indicated in the media release.
Deputies said they appreciate the public’s help in searching for McMannis.
