Phillip L. Crossgrove, age 68, of Three Rivers, died on Monday, October 13, 2025 at his home. He was born August 29, 1957 in Sturgis, a son of Leroy and Alice (Brown) Crossgrove. He graduated from Colon High School in 1975, attended Glen Oaks Community College, and received an engineering degree from Western Michigan University. On June 20, 1980 he married Mickie Nipper in Three Rivers.
Phillip worked as a drafting engineer for Sutton Tool and previously worked at Wells Saw, Owens- Illinois, and the Colon Co-Op. He enjoyed farming his land in Leonidas, driving semi trucks, collecting tractors, and going to auctions.
Surviving are his wife Mickie Crossgrove, Three Rivers; son Oscar (Paula) Moore, Sherwood; daughters Rebecca (Shawn) Swihart, Bronson, Lori (Jack) McDowell, Loudon, TN; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings Samuel (Kim) Crossgrove, White Pigeon, Christine Beardsley, White Pigeon, Michael (Lina) Crossgrove, Constantine; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew Melvin Beardsley; and great nephew Russell Wagner.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will be held at 1 pm Friday at the funeral home with Brad Hartong officiating. Burial will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
