Robert Allen “Bob” Parish, age 51, of Sturgis, passed away early Saturday morning, October 18, 2025, at his home.
He was born July 22, 1974 in Sturgis, the son of the late Eugene and Judy (Jackson) Parish. A lifelong resident of Sturgis, Robert graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1993. On July 23, 2011, he married Samantha Shotzman in Sturgis.
Bob was employed by Morgan Olson in Sturgis and had also worked for several years at Sturgis Molded Products. He enjoyed fishing and bowling, and cherished spending time with his family, always present for their many activities and milestones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Samantha; children: Robert “Bobby” (Emily) Parish of Woodland, William (Katelynn Penn) Parish of Colon, and Bryttani and Gabriel Parish at home; three grandchildren: Dawson, Paisley, and Oliver, with a fourth expected; brothers: Kenneth Parish of Kansas, Eugene Parish, Jr., and Jerry (Jessica) Parish of Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Thomas Parish, Michael Parish, and Jeffery Parish and sister-in-law: Connie Parish.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis. In accordance with Robert’s wishes, cremation will follow the visitation.
