Three Rivers Fire Department personnel responded recently to a kitchen fire at the Applebee’s on West Broadway Street.
According to agency officials, firefighters were dispatched shortly after 6 p.m. Sept. 28.
Fire-fighting efforts were concentrated in the kitchen area. The fire was put out with the assistance of an extinguisher. The fire was limited to a wall-mounted broiler, authorities said.
The kitchen was closed for the remainder of the evening. No injuries were reported.
