Emanuel H. Eicher, age 60, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday evening, November 23, 2025, at Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital.
He was born March 17, 1965 in Decatur, Indiana, son of the late Henry and Anna (Schwartz) Eicher.
Emanuel had made his home in Sturgis for the past two years, coming from Millersburg, Indiana.
On August 4, 2001, he married the love of his life, Lauren Lynn Valenti, in Bristol, Indiana. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2023.
Emanuel was a talented brick mason. He also worked as a carpenter, and his last employment was transporting recreational vehicles.
He is survived by his daughters: Christina (Mike) Heath and Laurie Eicher, both of Sturgis; sons: Travis Devlieger of Elkhart, Kristian (Taylor) Eicher of Atwood, Indiana, Derek (Kayla) Eicher of Bremen, Indiana, and Travis James Eicher of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; siblings: Maggie (Menno) Eicher of Michigan, Susan Harris of Indiana, Ernest Eicher of Indiana, Reuben Eicher of Iowa, Henry (Katie) Eicher of Iowa, Annie (Toby) Schwartzentruber of Indiana, Verena (Dan) Schwartz of Wisconsin, Menno (Edith) Eicher of Oklahoma, and Jake (Liz) Eicher of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his daughter-in-law, Kellie Devlieger.
The family will receive friends 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Friday, November 28th, at the home of Clint and Hannah Eicher, 23258 Graber Lane in Sturgis, where funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday. Pastor Henry Schwartz will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Old Order Amish Cemetery in Centreville.
