Michael Donald Foley, age 71, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday morning, November 20, 2025, at his home.
He was born on May 29, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late Edgar Alphonso and Helen Geraldine (McCoy) Foley. Mike had made Sturgis his home for many years, coming from Youngstown, Ohio.
On March 1, 2014, he married Kris Matthews in Centreville, and together they shared many memorable years.
Mike had a deep love for motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. He also found great joy in Christmas lights and all kinds of lighting displays. Known for his fascination with tinkering, he could often be found working on one project or another.
He is survived by his wife, Kris; his children, Melanie and Michael Jr.; several grandchildren; and a number of sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
In honoring Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
