Bette Jean Lucas, age 85, formerly of Constantine, died on Monday Dec. 8, 2025. She Was born on December 2, 1940 in Constantine, the daughter of Samuel and Marian(Kindig) Stump.
Bette lived in Constantine most of her life. She was employed as a bookkeeper for several companies in manufacturing and health Care. She enjoyed gardening, animals, ceramics and family. She was a member of The Constantine United Methodist church, where she served on the Memorial and Finance Committees.
Bette married Paul Lucas on Nov. 21, 1962. He preceded her in death.
She is survived By Children Cindy Peters, Steve(Kiel) Lucas, Kathy(Kirby) Hoover, Karla (Doug) Shirley. Kevin (Stephanie) Lucas, 6 Grandchildren Several great Grandchildren 1 Sister Doris Easterday Preceded in death by Husband, Parents, 1Sister, 2 Brothers, Grandson Scott Peters.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, Dec. 13 with Pastor Gary Lewis of Bristol Community Church officiating. Donations to Charity of Choice.
