A Three Rivers man will be sentenced in January after a jury last week found him guilty of 10 felony counts.
St. Joseph County Prosecutor Deb Davis said Caron Fuller, 34, was deemed guilty of every offense stemming from a March police pursuit and the subsequent discovery of drugs and illegal weapons.
Fuller was arrested March 11, when deputies observed him operating a dirt bike before attempting a traffic stop. Fuller fled, leading officers on a pursuit through Centreville.
Authorities said the chase ended in a residential neighborhood on Burr Oak Street after Fuller lost control of the motorcycle and crashed. He was apprehended following a brief foot chase and physical struggle, according to Davis.
Deputies located methamphetamine, ammunition and a pistol in Fuller’s possession.
According to Davis, he was convicted of: possession of methamphetamine; fleeing and eluding; possession of a firearm and ammunition; carrying a concealed weapon; two counts of assaulting and resisting; and three counts of felony firearm.
Fuller remains in the custody of Michigan Department of Corrections, having entered a plea earlier this year in an unrelated case stemming from a larceny incident in November 2024 in Three Rivers.
Fuller was on bond for that case at the time of the Centreville pursuit.
Sentencing takes place next month before Circuit Court Judge Paul Stutesman.
