Swiss Valley opens for season

Swiss Valley Ski & Snowboard Area opened for its 58th season last week.

The Jones-area resort is under new ownership, though management has not changed. WSBT-TV reports skiers will see new technology, more snow and a friendly experience.

Guests have the option to purchase a seasonal or day pass on RFID cards for automatic admission to the slopes.

Facility upgrades, meanwhile, include a new design at the rental department and more snow-making machines.

Jamie Stafne, Swiss Valley general manager, said a continued effort to please customers at Swiss Valley remains a priority for the 2025-26 season.

Slopes are open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
