Members of the Three Rivers Rotary Club recently made a generous donation to the Three Rivers Food Site.
Rotary officials said the funds were collected from a recent gathering during which club members celebrate the civic group’s 80th anniversary. The amount raised at the event was matched by Fibre Converters and an anonymous donor.
The food site has served more than 3,000 families this year, amounting to more than 12,000 people.
Supporters of Three Rivers Food Site include Meijer and local stores that would otherwise discard leftover food.
