A Vicksburg man will be sentenced later this month for his role in the death of a 10-year-old Amish boy last year in Sherman Township.
Logan Thomas, 30, pleaded guilty Nov. 24 in St. Joseph County Circuit Court for his role in the December 2024 death of Anthony Miller.
Thomas was charged with operating while intoxicated causing death as a habitual offender.
Authorities said Thomas was driving west on Banker Street Dec. 2 when his vehicle struck Miller. Thomas, who had a record of three previous felonies, was found to be under the influence of meth, authorities said.
Thomas is to be sentenced Dec. 19
