David Edward Erdos, age 64, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026.
He was born July 21, 1961 in Three Rivers, the son of Ernest and Barbara (Arnold) Erdos, and graduated from Three Rivers High School.
David worked in the welding and trucking industry. What he loved about trucking was being able to experience new places.
David had a love for music. He would sit on the back porch just relaxing, listening to his music as loud as possible. He was also a big Lions fan. He would always find a way to watch his boys play #onepride. He was big on fishing, and loved going on fishing trips with his family. He loved golfing with his kids and family. His dogs, Coco and Lola, were his rock; he will be missed by both.
David was a loving kind man with pride. He always cared about how he looked. He still loved everyone he crossed paths with, family by blood and family by choice.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Erdos; former companion, Sherry Erdos; sons, Trevor (Taylor) Erdos, Jeremy Isaac, and Nathan Isaac; daughter, Jamie (Hamilton) Peña; grandchildren, Romeo, Liam, Skilar, Aaliah, Rena, Kyan, Jordan, and Connor; brothers, Ernie (Diann) Erdos, Homer (Julia) Erdos, and Robert (Stacey) Erdos.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Erdos.
His family will receive friends Saturday, January 10, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home.
Donations in David’s name may be directed to Trevor and Jamie. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
