Deadline for nominations for the Three Rivers Lions Club’s Bruce C. Snook Citizen of the Year is next week.
The civic group’s Citizen of the Year program started in 1965 and honors someone who has shown a commitment to service and given unselfishly of themselves for the betterment of the community.
Anyone wishing to nominate a potential recipient is asked to submit a letter and provide background on the merits of the person being recommended.
Nominations should be mailed on or before Jan. 28 to Three Rivers Lions Club, Box 134, Three Rivers, 49093.
