Media event will offer information on new airline at Kalamazoo airport

Officials from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek are staging a media event this morning to share news related to a new airline and air service out of the Portage Road facility.

Airport director Craig Williams said full details will be provided at this morning’s event at the airport.

Airport representatives have worked to secure a void created when Avelo Airlines pulled out of AZO last April after providing flights to and from Orlando for 18 months.
