The Chili Cook-Off event scheduled for last weekend in downtown Three Rivers was postponed due to dangerously cold weather.
The new date is Feb. 7.
The event’s time will remain noon to 4 p.m. in the downtown district, where chili aficionados will have the opportunity to sample portions at participating businesses. Then, voting will determine the top three best chilis in the event.
Tickets to participate as a sampler are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the fundraiser.
Scorecards to document stopping points and a tasting spoon will be distributed to participants. Each completed scorecard qualifies for a $25 gift certificate.
