TR plans Chili Cook-off

Organizers of this weekend’s Chili Cook-Off in Three Rivers are making final preparations for the event.

From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in the downtown district, chili aficionados are welcome to sample portions at participating businesses. Then, voting will determine the top three best chilis in the event.

Tickets to participate as a sampler are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the fundraiser.

Scorecards to document stopping points and a tasting spoon will be distributed to participants. Each completed scorecard qualifies for a $25 gift certificate.
