United Airlines and Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport officials announced Tuesday the airline’s return to AZO.
Airport director Craig Williams said service from Kalamazoo Chicago O’Hare International Airport will begin in late April.
The service, Williams said, will connect to more than 200 cities and bring new connections to 48 new cities that were either two-stop or non-existent from Kalamazoo.
United makes its return to the airport following a four-year absence.
Customers can make reservations beginning Thursday for flight service that starts April 30.
The new routes will operate daily on a mix of single and dual-class service aircraft.
Daily departures from AZO will be at 6 a.m., 10:49 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6:27 p.m. Meanwhile, returning flights from O’Hare are scheduled to land daily in Kalamazoo at 7:45 a.m. 11:40 a.m., 3:35 p.m. and 9:27 p.m.
