The deadline for a scholarship available through Cass County Sheriff’s Office is coming up in two weeks.
Agency officials said Cass County seniors are encouraged to apply for the Cass County Sheriff’s Community Scholarship. Its purpose is to provide funding for high school students who are a Cass County resident.
Applicants must be high school seniors with a grade-point average of 2.5 or better.
Applications are due on or before March 6 and are available online. An in-person interview may be requested, with recipients announced the second week of May.
In addition, recipients are required to work at the scholarship golf outing July 31.
