Tom is survived by his cherished wife, Deborah Lang, who was his partner in every aspect of life. He was a beloved brother to Tony (Gina) Lang and their children, Mark and Tarah; Fred (Kim) Lang and their children, Kyle and Paul (Jocelyn) and Tim (Debbie) Lang and their son, Matthew (Jamie). Tom was also a treasured uncle to Eric (Colleen) Walters and their children, Evan, Luke, Alex, and Andrew; and to Stephen (Jennifer) Walters and their children, Henry and Lucy. His presence will also be deeply missed by many extended family members.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Donald and Patricia Lang, his nephew Kevin Lang, and his beloved canine sidekick, Terra.
Tom was a man who believed in the value of hard work and the joy of craftsmanship. For over 40 years, he owned and operated Lang Tuning, where his expertise and care for detail earned him respect and loyalty from his clients. His work was not just a job but a calling, where he forged lasting friendships and associations that extended beyond the garage.
Outside of work, Tom had a passion for the great outdoors. He liked nothing more than taking his motorcycle for a long ride, feeling the wind against his face and the freedom of the open road. Camping and four-wheeling up north were among his favorite retreats, where he would indulge in the simple pleasures of pancakes and hot dogs cooked over an open fire. He was also known for his love of cutting wood, a task he found both meditative and rewarding.
Tom’s passion for life was infectious, and he had a unique ability to find joy in life’s simple moments. Whether it was sharing a joke around the campfire or leading a family expedition through the woods, he knew how to make every experience memorable. His absence will leave a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
