Tickets for a slider-tasting event at a winter festival in Kalamazoo County are now on sale.
Vicksburg’s “Ice ‘Burg Fest,” a one-day celebration, starts at noon Feb. 28. Event organizers said a new event this year is Outhouse Races. Participants are required to build their own outhouse then register for the competition the day of the festival.
Meanwhile, at least seven area restaurants will compete for the title of “Best Slider,” based on public vote. Tickets to sample entries cost $25.
Other attractions include live music, a downtown scavenger hunt, watercolor ice painting and a s’mores station.
