Trevor Hochstedler, 54

Trevor A. Hochstedler, age 54, of Goshen, Indiana, and formerly of Quincy, Michigan, passed away at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Trevor was born on October 4, 1971 in LaGrange to LaMar D. and Linda S. (Seybert) Hochstedler, who preceded him in death.

Raised in LaGrange County, Trevor graduated from Westview High School with the Class of 1990. He continued his education at Purdue University, an accomplishment he was proud of and one that reflected his strong work ethic and determination. Trevor dedicated 20 years of service to Abbott Laboratories in Sturgis, working in the maintenance department. He later worked as a loader at the Walmart Distribution Center in Coldwater.

Trevor was a member of Word of Life Outreach Center in Quincy, where his faith and fellowship were important parts of his life. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. Trevor loved the outdoors—especially hunting and fishing—and treasured the peace he found in nature. He also had a deep interest in history and could often be found watching war documentaries, with a particular fascination for World War II films.

Above all, Trevor cherished his family. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Allison (Nicholas) Warner of Sturgis, Collin Hochstedler of Quincy, and Preston Hochstedler of Sturgis; his beloved grandson, Emmett Warner; his brother, Troy (Shari) Hochstedler of Middlebury; his niece, Lexie Hochstedler of Middlebury; and his nephew, Anthony Hochstedler of Millersburg, Indiana. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, Indiana. Pastor Bob Montgomery will officiate.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Shore Cemetery in rural Shipshewana.
