Count commission to honor Sheriff’s Department employees

An awards ceremony recognizing St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department employees highlights today county board of commissioners meeting.

Other agenda items include Friend of the Court’s 2025 report, discussion and potential funding of a recruitment and hiring-incentive program by the sheriff’s department, and the potential reappointment of Steve Houts and Jeff Knautz to the county’s Parks and Recreation Board.
