Kathleen Marie Starks-Smith, age 61, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Three Rivers on January 14, 1965 the daughter of Alvin and Rose (Howe) Starks. Kathy attended Three Rivers High School and was part of the 1983 graduating class. In the mid 1980’s, she married Edwin Smith in Marietta, GA. Kathy loved her cats, she loved her family, and she loved helping others.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Edwin Smith; her son, Zachary Smith; her brother, Rick Starks; and many extended family. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Alvin and Rose Starks; and her sister, Terry Jean Starks.
