Tornado cleanup and assistance available

Members of a goodwill organization, Samaritan’s Purse, are set up inside Riverside Church to help anyone needing assistance with cleanup.

The international disaster-relief organization has committed to Three Rivers through at least Saturday. With guidance from experienced team leaders, its members will assist homeowners affected by Friday’s tornado by helping with content recovery, debris cleanup, roof tarping and tree work.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph County United Way, with support of the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office, has been coordinating volunteers, relief and donations. United Way officials are suggesting anyone in need of help refer to their messaging through Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
