A multi-agency resource center for tornado-recovery assistance is setting up for business this coming weekend.
Through the coordination of St. Joseph County United Way, “Three Rivers Community Support After the Storm,” is a four-hour event that starts Saturday at Riverside Church.
Meals will be available on site. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to connect with local resources for help with disaster cleanup, recovery assistance and representatives from volunteer organizations.
In addition, local service agencies will be on hand. They include the United Way, American Red Cross, SVDP-USA Disaster Services and HOPE animal-assisted crisis response.
