TR K9 to receive protective vest

Three Rivers Police Department K-9 Officer Goose will soon receive a bullet- and stab-protective vest.

Agency officials said the protective gear is being offered through Vested Interest In K9’s, a charitable organization.

Delivery of the equipment is expected in June.

Vested Interest In K9’s was established in 2009. Its mission is to provide bullet- and stab-protective vests, and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States.
