Tyler Hoover, 34

Tyler James Hoover, age 34, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home in Elkhart. Tyler was a beloved son, brother, and friend who brought joy, laughter, and light into the lives of those around him. Though he faced personal struggles, his unwavering love for family and friends remained constant. His passing leaves a heartache that will never fade, but his spirit will live on in the cherished memories of all who knew him.

Tyler was born on April 18, 1991 in Columbus, Indiana. He graduated from Columbus East High School in 2009 and moved to White Pigeon, and then Sturgis before attending Pensacola Bible College for a year, and then in 2016 moved to Elkhart. Tyler was currently employed as a Production Tech at Morgan Advanced Materials in Elkhart.

Tyler had a great sense of humor and enjoyed reading his Bible and had a great faith in Christ Jesus. His cat, Kitty, was a beloved companion and he also enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and bonfires with family and friends. He was a gamer at heart and enjoyed spending time with his niece and cousin.

He is survived by his parents: David and Karen Flint of Sturgis; a sister: Jessica (Matt) Keegan of Montgomery, MI; niece: Addison from Montgomery, MI; Aunt and Uncle: Annette and Dave Peach; cousin: Matthew Peach; and grandmother: Beverly Gilbert all of Crawfordsville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather: David Gilbert and his great-grandmother: Betty Fowler..

The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 to 4:00, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.

Memorial Services celebrating the life of Tyler James Hoover will be held at 4:00, immediately following the visitation, at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Long, Gracepoint Baptist Church, officiating.

Memorial donations in Tyler’s memory may be directed to the Gideons International, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
