Vickie Armstrong, age 64, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the home of her mother and stepfather in Three Rivers.
Vickie was born on November 3, 1961 in Lepanto, Arkansas. She later moved to Michigan, where she graduated from Centreville High School in 1982. In her younger years she worked for Fisher’s Big Wheel and spent much of her life in the Three Rivers area.
During her life, Vickie lived in Arkansas and also spent time living on Baer Road in Mendon in a home built by her father before later moving to Canal Street, where she lived for more than 30 years. That home became a place filled with memories for family and friends over the decades.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy J. Armstrong.
Vickie is survived by her loving mother, Katherine Snyder, and stepfather, Terrance Eugene Snyder; her sister, Donna; her brother, Daniel; and her son, Joshua Armstrong and his wife Ashley. She was also a proud grandmother to Kloey, Athena, Westley, and Sawyer Jayne, who brought her immense joy.
Vickie was known for her great sense of humor, her love of sweet tea, and the time she cherished spending with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the laughter she brought to those around her and the love she had for her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Vickie’s life will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers.
