Annual cleanup planned at 2 cemeteries

Organizers of the annual cleanup at Lakeside Cemetery and South Colon Cemetery are asking for the public’s cooperation before work begins April 15.

They ask that all gravesite decorations be removed in advance of the task.

Work is expected to take place April 15 through the end of the month.

Event organizers said they are not responsible for any decorations once the cleanup process begins.
