A teenager was injured in a one-vehicle crash last week in Cass County’s Porter Township.
Sheriff Clint Roach said deputies were called at 7:45 p.m. Friday to an area of Bellows Road, south of Sweet Road.
Investigators said a 16-year-old Edwardsburg resident was driving south on Bellows Road and his vehicle collided with a log in the road.
The driver lost control of his vehicle. It left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
A 19-year-old passenger, Gabriel Smith, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to deputies.
He was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital. The driver was treated at the scene.
