Jeffrey Alan Wheat, age 66, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 17, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the son of Verle H. and Betty L. (Harrington) Wheat, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1977.
Jeff served his country in the United States Air Force for eight years.
He loved woodworking.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his siblings, Tom (Terry), Rick (Sue) and David; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Vicki Wheat; nieces and nephews, Anita (Jack) Keene, Rich (Lainie) Wheat, Lisa (Todd) Skrzypek, Lori (Tony) Skrzypek, Amy (Tony) Page, and Chip (Sarah) Wheat; many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terry; and brother, Jim.
Jeff’s family would like to thank Three Rivers Hospice for their compassionate care for him.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted. He will be laid to rest at Lower Flatbush Cemetery. Donations in Jeff’s name may be directed to Three Rivers Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home.
