Laura Mejeur (Reynolds), 61

Laura Lee Mejeur (Reynolds), age 61, of Marcellus, passed away on Monday, April 27th, 2026, at her home, following a courageous fight with her chronic illness.

She was born on August 31st, 1964 in Wilmington Ohio to Authur Reynolds Jr. and Betty Reynolds. She was raised in White Pigeon by her loving grandparents, Arthur Reynolds and Dorthy Reynolds.

Laura attended White Pigeon Schools and made many lifelong friends during this time. She was known as “Half Pint” by most of her friends from that time.

She married Mark Schrock on August 31st, 1987 in Leonidas at Rawsons Mill Pond, a place that she loved dearly and meant so much to her throughout her life.

April 25th 1986, Laura became a mother, her self-proclaimed most important role in life, to her daughter Emily. Laura devoted her whole life to her daughter and family. She was known for her ability to light up a room, make everyone laugh, and even provide comfort to others when she was having challenges of her own. You could expect a funny joke, silly humor, and even a big hug when you saw her. Her big personality was noticed and loved by everyone.

She will be known for her strength and positive outlook regarding her battle with her illnesses. Her ability to overcome so many continuous obstacles is a testament to her perseverance in life despite what was given to her through her life. She was a true optimist when it came to overcoming challenges that seemed to be impossible to overcome.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily (David) Flowers. Her Siblings; Authur “Curly” (Cindy) Reynolds, Steven (Lori) Reynolds, Jon (Laurie) Reynolds, Karly Kelly Bauereis, and Amy Archer, several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends who she considered family.

A visitation service will be held at the Farrand Funeral Home, 300 N. Kalamazoo Ave., White Pigeon, Michigan 49099 on Wednesday May 6th, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00. Following visitation, a casual no-host gathering will be at Jaywalkers Restaurant, 10188 US-12, White Pigeon. All are welcome to join to celebrate Laura’s life.

To honor Laura’s love for animals, the family welcomes donations to Pepper’s Hope Dog Rescue in her name.
