St. Joseph County United Way officials recently celebrated the completion of their new facility.
The new office is at 62527 Shimmel Road, just south of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District. The new site offers more space than what was previously available as a tenant in a strip plaza in Centreville.
Agency director Kelly Hostetler and her staff moved in in late February.
Hostetler gave a shout-out to Tony Percival, who spearheaded the capital campaign necessary to secure the funds required to build the new headquarters.
The fundraising included matching grants, private donations, company donations and in-kind contributions, Hostetler said.
It is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
