Brody Michael Phillips, age 33, of Howe, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 18, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on June 22, 1992 in Goshen to Robert Gene and Michelle Ann (Wickey) Phillips.
Brody was a lover of nature with a kind heart for both animals and his family. He enjoyed camping, listening to music — usually very loudly — and spending time outdoors. One of his greatest companions was his beloved dog and support buddy, Marley.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle A. Phillips of Bronson, Michigan; his father, Robert G. Phillips of Syracuse, Indiana; three sisters, Amber (Cody Roggow) Phillips of Burr Oak, Casey Phillips of Coldwater, and Olivia Phillips of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a maternal grandmother, Oma Wickey of Sturgis; his paternal grandfather, Don Phillips; aunt and uncle, Deb and Russell Miltibarger all of Howe, Indiana; along with several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place, and the family will hold private services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frurip-May Funeral Home.
