After completing the 2025-26 academic year without a high school principal, Centreville Public Schools has finally filled the position.
During their monthly board meeting earlier this month, Centreville Board of Education members hired Matthew Henningsen to oversee Centreville Jr./Sr. High School.
A Centreville graduate, Henningsen has most recently taught social studies at Sturgis High School.
Henningsen has also served as junior varsity girls basketball coach and assistant coach for the Sturgis girls varsity team.
