Fredrick Morey, 77

Fredrick E. Morey, 77, of Shipshewana, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home, following a six-month illness.
He was born Jan. 21, 1941, in Kalkaska, a son of Aryls and Olive (Beach) Morey.
He lived his early life in Kalkaska, later moving to Sturgis, and the final 20 years in Shipshewana. He was employed at Owens Classic Trailers as a press operator. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing, sports, the Detroit Tigers, karaoke and dancing.
He is survived by a daughter, Dawna (Jonas) Weaver; a son, Fredrick Morey; brothers Robert, George, Jerry and Leslie Morey; a sister, Rita Wilks; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Shirley Armstrong and Edith Morey; and brothers Melvin, Mervin Ronald Danny Morey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Cremation has taken place.
