John Castle, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust Chairman and CEO recently
announced the promotions of officers Eric Anglin and Matt Moses.
Anglin was promoted to Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Services/Chief
Deposit Officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Tiffin
University, and joined the bank in 2010. He advanced to the position of First
Vice President, where he achieved record results as the head of retail banking.
He oversaw the expansion of the branch network and has led the bank’s regional
business development efforts.
Moses will serve as Senior Vice President, Head of Wealth Management. He is
a business administration graduate of Western Michigan University, and came to
Southern in 2016. Moses led the consolidation of Trust and Brokerage, the
acquisition and integration of a significant wealth management office in Portage,
and produced record growth for Southern’s Wealth Management portfolio.
Castle stated, “Eric and Matt are exceptional bankers, and we are fortunate to
have their leadership at Southern. I am proud to recognize their outstanding
work.”
