A 20-year-old man died on September 19th in a two-vehicle crash in Burr Oak Township.
The victim was identified as Zander Pappas.
Michigan State Police said troopers were called at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, the 19th, to North Lakeview Avenue near Witt Lake Road.
According to investigators, the victim was driving a moped south on Lakeview Avenue but in the northbound lane. Authorities said the man’s moped was struck by a northbound automobile driven by a 66-year-old man.
The moped driver, who was thrown from his vehicle, died at Sturgis Hospital.
