Three Rivers Fire Department and the Fabus Park Fire Department are teaming up to, once again, present “Firefighters for Santa.”
Agency officials are asking for area businesses to consider monetary donations to help local families currently experiencing hard times.
Potential recipients of “Firefighters for Santa” are recommended from area schools. Then, parents of those who are identified are asked what their child’s Christmas list includes.
The fire agencies are partnering this year with St. Joseph County United Way, as it will act as the fiduciary agent for the program.
