St. Joseph County Intermediate School Board members have developed a time frame for their plan to replace Superintendent Teresa Belote, who plans to retire in June.
ISD board members said their goal is to have a new superintendent identified by mid-April. The person selected would, ideally, start June 1 and work under Belote for a few weeks before Belote steps down.
ISD board members set Jan. 19 as the date for application deadline.
From there, a vetting process will take place, which would include a site visit to the location of finalists. Second interviews would follow within the next week, according to the timeframe.
In the meantime, a virtual survey regarding the next ISD superintendent is online and accessible at: sjcisd.org.
